Tamara Arnold, Program Manager
As Baltimore Corps' Program Manager for fellowships, Tamara curates a fellowship experience that is aligned with our strategic goals and mission. In collaboration with the Programs Team, Tamara designs and implements leadership development with an equity lens, community engagement initiatives, and ongoing support to Baltimore Corps' Fellows. She is driven by Baltimore Corps' vision to cultivate a diverse cohort of leaders committed to social innovation and advancing equity in our city.
Tamara, is an educator first. Her experience in education grounds her passion to focus on the whole person to transform the trajectories of at-risk communities. Transitioning into nonprofit work developed out of a deepened desire to create a space of continued development and improved social competency of social-sector leaders. She has worked with various national and local nonprofits since 2010, beginning with Teach for America in South Louisiana. Tamara graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Women's Studies.
