Employment Offer

In addition to submitting standard job application information, you will be asked to complete short-answer questions related to Baltimore Corps’ values of advancing equity and racial justice; increasing social sector effectiveness; and putting Baltimore first. Those applicants invited to join the Place for Purpose talent pool will have the opportunity to complete an additional assessment that helps ensure alignment between you as an applicant and available positions, setting you up for long-term success. A member of the Place for Purpose team will conduct a one-on-one phone screening with you once the assessment is complete. This personal touch allows us to better understand what you’re looking for in your job search and advocate on your behalf in finding the right employer match. Hiring practices vary by organization, but will generally involve at least one in-person interview with a hiring team. Depending on the position, additional interviews and/or work products may be required. Interviews are scheduled through the Place for Purpose online community, enabling Place for Purpose staff assistance throughout the process. Hiring organizations will generally request professional references to speak with prior to making a job offer. Once the hiring organization has extended a job offer, and you have accepted, you’re ready to embark on the next step to greater social impact through your career!
