Baltimore CIty: Building Strong Competitive Cheerleaders

Baltimore City: Building Strong Competitive Cheerleaders introduces Baltimore City youth to the world of Competitive / All-Star Cheerleading. Because cheerleading is not a sanctioned sport in Baltimore City Public Schools, students do not have the first-hand knowledge of the benefits of cheerleading and scholarships available to top cheerleaders.

As the first competitive cheerleading program in Baltimore City, we will introduce Baltimore City youth to cheerleading and help bridge the existing gap between Baltimore City Public Schools and the surrounding county districts that offer cheer as a sport, giving Baltimore City youth the opportunity to compete on the All-Star Competitive Cheer circuit. This will help build strong communities by building stronger athletes empowered to reach their fullest potential through the core values of integrity, honor, and respect, while cultivating essential life skills, such as responsibility, self-discipline, and resilience through sports.
