Agzja Carey, Programs Manager
As Baltimore Corps' Programs Manager for network support, Agzja engages Baltimore Corps' growing network of talent, which includes Elevation Awardees and Fellowship Alumni. This role was created in order to further promote an equity agenda and mobilize a movement of leaders dedicated to dismantling institutional racism. Pioneering a comprehensive learning and development plan beyond and outside of the Fellowship, Agzja will provide our network with ongoing professional development and organizational support.
Agzja has a B.B.A. in Business Management from the illustrious Howard University located in Washington D.C. As an alumna of professional and social impact fellowships, Agzja understands the necessity of alumni networks. Her vision is to activate the knowledge of Fellowship Alumni and Elevation Awardees to continue to advance racial justice and equity in Baltimore City. As a community activist, Agzja looks forward to supporting community-led projects and a network of independent community leaders.
